Wrestling is one of the oldest and most physically demanding combat sports, focusing on takedowns, control, and pinning techniques. It builds strength, agility, endurance, and mental toughness, making it an excellent foundation for athletic development. Beyond competition, wrestling instills discipline, resilience, and problem-solving skills that benefit students in all aspects of life.
At Renzo Gracie Clarksville, our Youth Wrestling program (ages 5-9) offers 60-minute classes where young athletes develop coordination, balance, and fundamental techniques through structured drills and live practice. As students progress, they move into our Juniors Wrestling program (ages 10-18), where they participate in 90-minute classes incorporating advanced techniques, strategy, and conditioning.
Our wrestling program is the foundation for our USA and AAU-registered Screaming Eagles Wrestling Club, the competitive arm of our program, offering athletes opportunities to test their skills in high-level competition. Multiple instructors are on the mat to provide focused coaching and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment. All coaches are Safe Sport certified through USA Wrestling, maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
