Professor James Hoskins is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu under Professor Brian Marvin and has been instrumental in the growth of Renzo Gracie Clarksville. As a Clarksville native, James graduated from Montgomery Central High School before enlisting in the Army as a combat medic. He later became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and earned his associate’s degrees in Applied Sciences and Business Administration. With years of management experience, he now serves as the owner, CEO, and Program Director at the academy.
James is a devoted husband and father to Jada and Jhayden. He is deeply involved in both the adult and youth BJJ programs, where he leads the youth BJJ competition team. Known for his commitment to helping students grow both on and off the mats, James is most often found leading early morning and mid-day gi classes, sharing his expertise and passion for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His leadership and dedication to the community make him a valued mentor and coach.
