Coach Terrence “TJ” Santiago is the head wrestling coach at Renzo Gracie Clarksville and the Screaming Eagles Wrestling Club, bringing years of experience and a deep passion for the sport. Originally from Ellenville, NY, TJ has dedicated his life to martial arts, wrestling, and coaching. A proud father of two, he also served in the U.S. Army, both on active duty and in the reserves, where he further honed his skills in combat sports and leadership.
TJ’s martial arts journey began with Taekwondo, earning his black belt in 2008 and competing in numerous tournaments. He also competed as an amateur boxer for four years and has been actively involved in wrestling since 2003, competing at regional and state levels. His experience extends to military combatives and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, which he continues to train in today. As a coach, TJ has guided AAU wrestling teams to success at both regional and state levels. His dedication, knowledge, and hands-on coaching style make him an invaluable leader, inspiring the next generation of wrestlers at Renzo Gracie Clarksville.
