Judo, meaning “the gentle way,” is a martial art that focuses on using an opponent’s force against them through throws, takedowns, and control techniques. Rooted in balance, leverage, and technique rather than strength, Judo is a highly effective discipline for self-defense, physical fitness, and mental resilience. It instills discipline, confidence, and problem-solving skills in practitioners of all ages.
For children, Judo offers a structured and engaging way to develop coordination, discipline, and social skills. Our Judo Cubs program (ages 3-5) introduces techniques through play and repetition in 30-minute sessions designed to build a strong foundation. As children grow, they progress into the Judo Young Tigers class (ages 6-9), where they refine their instincts, learn proper techniques, and develop a deeper understanding of Judo’s principles in 60-minute sessions.
For older kids, our Judo Juniors program (ages 10-15) focuses on reinforcing fundamentals while introducing more advanced techniques to improve timing, control, and competition strategies. Adults (ages 16+) can train in a supportive, structured environment that accommodates all experience levels, whether they are beginners or seasoned practitioners looking to refine their skills.
