Renzo Gracie Clarksville is thrilled to announce our new partnership with The Kindness Objective (TKO), a local 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to combatting bullying by fostering empathy, kindness, and empowerment in our community. TKO’s mission aligns perfectly with our commitment to not only teach self-defense but to also build confidence, respect, and personal growth in our students.
About The Kindness Objective
Founded by Melissa Marquais, TKO was inspired by the heartbreaking loss of a close friend’s daughter due to severe bullying. This tragedy fueled Melissa’s passion to create a world where empathy and kindness take the place of cruelty, and where children are empowered to protect themselves and others. TKO emphasizes the importance of not just talking about kindness but actively demonstrating it through real-life experiences, making empathy and kindness a daily practice (TKO).
What This Partnership Means for You
Through our partnership with TKO, we will be offering a series of workshops and seminars right here in Clarksville. These sessions will be designed to teach children the critical skills of self-defense while also instilling the values of kindness and empathy. We believe that a strong sense of self-confidence and the ability to defend oneself are essential in combating bullying and fostering a more inclusive community.
Get Involved
We encourage all our students and their families to get involved with TKO. You can sign your child up for notifications of upcoming events and even become a TKO ambassador, helping to spread the message of kindness and empowerment. Visit TKO’s website to learn more and join the movement.
Together, with TKO, we are committed to making a difference in our community by promoting kindness and empowering our youth. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this partnership will bring to our students and the broader Clarksville community.
