Clarksville, TN — The mats were alive with excitement today at Renzo Gracie Clarksville as students from the Youth Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program celebrated their hard work and dedication during a special belt promotion ceremony. Participants from the Young Lions program (ages 6 to 9) and Juniors program (ages 10 to 13) were joined by some of our youngest practitioners from the Cubs program (ages 3 to 5) for this memorable event.
The day began with a dynamic seminar led by our esteemed Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu coaching staff: Professor James Hoskins, the academy’s owner and main youth instructor, Professor CJ Garza, Coach Val Briones, Coach George Byard, Coach Emilia Finley, and Coach Ryan Parr. These experienced instructors shared their expertise, encouraging students to push their limits and refine their skills.
After the seminar, the much-anticipated belt promotion ceremony celebrated the students’ hard work and growth in the art of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Parents and families proudly watched as the young athletes received their new belts, marking significant milestones in their martial arts journey. Light refreshments were enjoyed following the ceremony, providing a time for the community to gather and celebrate together.
The Renzo Gracie Clarksville team is proud of the achievements of every student who earned a promotion today. Congratulations to all our newly promoted Young Lions and Juniors!
